Kwame Anthony Appiah, the in-house ethicist for the New York Times, has recently taken up questions on surrogacy and secrecy. The latter case has to do with assisted suicide (murder!). As I think working through specific questions can be especially illuminating, I thought I would evaluate Appiah’s counsel.
